Economic Success Coordinator

This position is ideal for someone who is results-oriented, enjoys helping people to increase their skills and knowledge, enjoys working in the field in different locations and believes in the importance of assisting families to build assets and long-term security. This position coordinates a range of activities including our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, workforce development/adult education services including working with partners to provide English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, connects families in subsidized housing with resources and safety net services. The person in this role needs to be passionate about helping low-income families. The role requires being stationed in both Calistoga and St. Helena.

Volunteer and Donor Engagement Coordinator

The Volunteer and Donor Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of recruitment, screening, and onboarding, engagement and recognition of all UVFC volunteers, including the coordination of UVFC’s Tutoring Program, plus ongoing communication with program staff throughout these processes. The Coordinator utilizes Monday.com to manage volunteer opportunities and maintain up-to-date records of potential, current and former volunteers. Additionally, the Coordinator is plans and leads volunteer engagement and appreciation activities, including an annual volunteer appreciation event. The Coordinator also works closely with the Development Team to implement successful fundraising campaigns, events, and other donor appreciation and engagement activities.

Student & Family Case Manager, Calistoga

The Student & Family Case Manager is supervised by the Program Director and provides case management and family wellness services to families and students. This role will connect students and their families to services, addressing any nonacademic barriers for the student to be successful in school. The person in this role works collaboratively with UVFC staff and local service providers/partner organizations including Calistoga Joint Unified School District to support students in times of crisis and help their families to reduce and manage stress. Additionally, they connect people to resources and as needed provides case management services. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating mental health services, working with social service providers, and connecting families to resources that support their overall wellbeing.

Human Resources and Operations Manager

The HR and Operations Manager is a people-oriented person who loves to inspire and derives joy from helping co-workers be the best they can be. The person in this role leads the people strategy, supports a culture of wellness, collaboration, continued professional development, and is the go-to person for HR questions. They oversee all HR systems and documentation, including payroll, benefits, personnel policies, recruitment, onboarding, retention and professional development. They advise managers and staff on employment laws, policies and practices. They also manage the smooth operation of UVFC’s facilities and technology at multiple offices. This includes working with UVFC vendors to address challenges and support the organization’s operational needs.

Youth Program Wellness Coach I, CLAR@

The Youth Program Wellness Coach I, CLAR@ supports the well-being of youth through individual and group services and coordination of prevention activities. The Coordinator leads a weekly mentoring group called CLARO/CLARA (Challenging Latinos or Latinas to Access Resources and Opportunities) for adolescent boys or girls in middle and high school, and works in alignment with the other Youth Program Coordinator. A Certified Wellness Coach (CWC) is a state-certified profession established by California’s Department of Health Access and Information as part of the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative. The role of the CWC is to offer prevention and early intervention services to support the behavioral health and well-being of children and youth. CWC qualifications include but are not limited to, psychoeducation, system navigation, crisis de-escalation, safety planning, coping skills, and motivational interviewing. CWCs engage and support children and youth in cultural, linguistic, and age-appropriate services, with the ability to refer and link to higher levels of care, as needed.
