Free tax preparation assistance
VITA 2019 hours starting February 4, 2019.
St. Helena Site (1440 Spring St., St. Helena):
Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 to 9 p.m.
Every other Saturday from 9: a.m. to 2 p.m.
St. Helena Public library (1493 Library Lane, St. Helena):
Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Calistoga Site (1500 Cedar Street, Calistoga)
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 9 p.m.
Every other Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Farm workers camps (Locations to be determined):
Fridays from 5 to 9 p.m.
Alternating between the 3 farm worker housing.
This program is made possible by the following generous funders: Citi Community Development, Mechanics Bank, Napa Valley Community Foundation, Wells Fargo Bank, Auction Napa Valley/Napa Valley Vintners, United Way of the Bay Area, and many individual donors.
We provide households with free tax preparation assistance, through trained volunteers. This program, known as VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance), is provided at our family centers between January – April each year. This year our tax assistance program reached 732 households generating $887,000 in refunds, averaging $1,212/family.

Walk-in payment service
Come by our office in St. Helena to pay a bill that is due through our convenient walk-in payment service. Bring a check or cash and we will process the payment and provide you with a receipt. PGE bills are processed for free. Other fees may apply depending on the company receiving payment. The process of the payments can take up to three business days.
