Community Health Initiative

Community Health Initiative (CHI) appointments are available Upvalley during open enrollment season.

CHI assists all Napa County residents to enroll in health insurance including Medi-Cal, Covered California, Private Individual and Family Plans and Medicare.

For eligibility, they serve all ages and all incomes regardless of immigration status. There are no fees for their services.

MediCal & CalFresh application assistance

Medi-Cal and CalFresh application assistance is available at our Washington Street office (1705 Washington Street, Suite G
Calistoga, CA 9451).

Any renewals for Medi-Cal may be completed and faxed from our St. Helena center (1440 Spring Street, St. Helena, CA 94574) to Health and Human Services Agency.

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program

Available in St. Helena at the Presbyterian Church (1428 Spring Street) on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays.

Available in Calistoga at our Family Center office site (1500 Cedar Street) on the 2nd and 4th Mondays.

Domestic Violence Counseling

We have staff available to provide domestic violence counseling to individuals upvalley.

Please call our office to speak with a domestic violence counselor.

We also partner closely with Napa Emergency Women’s Services (NEWS) to support to women victims of domestic violence.

Parenting Couples Support Groups

In partnership with Mentis, we offer Parenting Couples Support Groups twice a year in both Calistoga and St. Helena.
